Quickstart
Join a Coterie as a member, or set up your own community as a creator.
There are two ways to get started with Coterie: joining an existing community, or creating your own. Pick the path that matches what you're doing — both have full guides linked below if you want more detail than the fast version here.
No credit card required for either path — Coterie doesn't have live billing yet, so joining and running a community are both free today.
Joining a Coterie
Find a Coterie
Browse public communities from Discover inside the app, or use the invite link a creator shared with you — something like https://coterie.rsvp/c/their-community.
Apply
Fill in your name, email, and any questions the creator's added at their public page (coterie.rsvp/c/:slug), then submit.
Create your account
Once approved, sign up at app.coterie.rsvp with the email you applied with — password, Google, or GitHub.
Onboard and submit
Pick your niche, then share your first piece of work into an open session.

Create your account and community
Sign up at app.coterie.rsvp and create your Coterie.
Configure settings
Set your allowed content channels, default party size, and participation rules.
Add niches
Define the niches members can join so matches stay relevant.
Review applications and schedule a party
Approve your first members and open a session so they have somewhere to submit.
